tat tap truckers against trafficking ambassador program logo

TAT created our TAT Ambassador Program, or TAP, to enlarge the number of events we participate in across the country, while also relying on some of our best partners — and, of course, the Everyday Heroes of the road — to help spread the message about our life-saving work. We believe that members of the trucking industry themselves would have good reason to want to get involved in formally helping to educate others on our impactful work.

The goal of TAP is to equip the best-of-the-best of our nation’s professional truck drivers to officially represent Truckers Against Trafficking at events from coast to coast, with the purpose of educating audiences about the realities of human trafficking and what the trucking industry is doing to combat it. Who better to hear from about the importance of this work than the people on the front lines of the issue?

Our elite group of TAT Ambassadors are comfortable speaking in front of diverse groups of people and are able to clearly communicate information about TAT and our programs, as well as why they are proud to be a part of this work. These drivers are also deeply concerned with educating everyone they can — trucking and non-trucking alike — about what to look out for and what to do should someone suspect human trafficking is taking place.
