Our Trucker Against Trafficking highlight for the ‪#‎sTATe‬ of the week,‪#‎Kansas‬, is Gene Barrow!

When we asked Gene why he is a TAT he said, “After giving it great thought, the reason I am a TAT is both simple and not simple. I’m the head of my family and I wear many hats in my life. When I leave for work in my truck and wherever my loads take me I’m still the head and leader of my family. For my family and even my adult children I am the leader they look to in times of crisis or just for simple guidance and input, whatever the situation. Not everyone has this type of bond with their families that I am so fortunate to have. If I can lead by example for my children and family to help just one victim of these horrific crimes my family will see how important it is to be compassionate and proactive to get young women home, safe and sound where they belong. I’ve spoken with my family and explained the urgency of why a proactive stand is so necessary for these girls.”

Thank you so much Gene for leading anti-trafficking work in your home and family and for making a difference! We’re glad to have you as a TAT!
